A Place to Learn, Practice, and Connect
Your learning environment matters. At Marr Mooditj Training, our Waterford campus brings together course-specific training spaces, places to study and support from people who want to see you succeed.
Training takes place face to face, giving you opportunities to learn alongside other students, ask questions and practise skills relevant to your chosen course. Whether you live in Perth or travel from regional WA for a training block, we want you to feel welcome and ready to learn.
Marr Mooditj Training
A Campus Built For You
Marr Mooditj Training is located at 295 Manning Road, Waterford WA 6152. This is where students attend classes, meet their Educators and access Student Services.
As you explore the campus, you’ll see how different learning areas support different courses. Practical training spaces help students build confidence before applying their skills during professional experience placements, while classrooms and study areas provide space to develop the knowledge behind that practice.
Learn About the
Clontarf Campus
Marr Mooditj Training is part of the wider Clontarf campus setting. During your orientation, staff will introduce you to the campus environment, explain which areas students can access and show you important facilities and safety information.
The grounds are also part of the experience of studying at Waterford. For students driving to class, designated student parking is located near the Clontarf Oval.
Training Areas Built For Purpose
Students undertaking the Diploma of Nursing need opportunities to develop practical skills as well as clinical knowledge. Marr Mooditj Training’s simulated learning environment allows students to practise skills as they prepare for professional experience placements in health care settings.
The Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Practice prepares students to develop knowledge and skills for work in primary health care. Use this section to show prospective students the area where they learn and practise, and how the space supports their course.
Learning to support people experiencing mental health concerns calls for knowledge, communication and reflection. This section can show where Certificate IV in Mental Health and Integrating Mental Health Practice Skill Set students take part in their learning and skills development.
For students developing counselling skills, the learning environment should support focused discussion and practice. This section can introduce the space used by Diploma of Counselling students and show how they build their skills throughout the course.
Places to study
And Find Support
Learning continues outside scheduled classes. Students can access study support, including tutoring or mentoring, language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills assistance, and computer facilities. Student Services is available to discuss individual needs and help students find the support available to them.
The campus also has a café where students can access lunch, along with facilities for students bringing their own food.
